Ouida Spencer, Chairperson
Ouida has been a UCP volunteer for more than 25 years, and is an expert in dealing with housing issues related to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For her volunteer service to UCP, Ouida was the recipient of the 2004 Ethel Hausman Volunteer of the Year Award, an annual award given to one volunteer in the United States whose efforts have made an outstanding contribution to United Cerebral Palsy. Ouida is a real estate agent with Realty Associates of Atlanta.
Wes Jones, Vice Chairperson
Wes has been volunteering for UCP of Georgia since 2011. He’s active in organizing the annual Culbreth Cup Charity Golf Tournament, named after his late grandparents. Wes is the co-founder and CEO of Honeysuckle Gelato and lives in Atlanta.
Patricia Clarke, Vice Chairperson
Patty is the parent of two sons with cerebral palsy, and has been played an active role in UCP of Georgia’s development and growth for the past twenty years. Patty lives in Cumming.
Ray E. Gentry, Esq., Past President
Ray has been a UCP of Georgia volunteer for over 25 years, serving in various leadership roles throughout the organization’s transitions and growth. Ray, an attorney, lives in Sautee Nacoochee.
Bryan Jones, Member
Bryan has been supporting UCP of Georgia since 2011 when he founded the Culbreth Cup Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the organization. The Culbreth Cup is named for his late grandparents, Floy and Roy, who, in 1965, helped found what is now UCP of Georgia. Bryan is an account executive with SingleOps in Atlanta.
Cliff Williford, Member
Cliff started volunteering for UCP of Georgia in 2010 when he and his wife, Mary, organized the Norcross Police Department C.H.U.K. Run to benefit UCP of Georgia. Cliff and Mary have a son with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He works for Cox Automotive in Atlanta.
Christopher R. Greene, Member
Chris and his family have worked as volunteers on organizing special events and other fund raising efforts to benefit UCP of Georgia since 2010. Chris’ son, Carson, has cerebral palsy. Chris is President of Securian Casualty Company in Macon.
James Wylie, Member
James has supported UCP of Georgia for many years, but officially joined the board of directors in 2018. He owns Apple Pie Printing Company, an Atlanta book, sign and design Company. James is a former club DJ and enjoys playing music in his spare time at his home in Buford.
Patsy Gentry, Member
Patsy has served on the board of directors for UCP of Georgia since 2012. She is an artist, writer and photographer whose work is featured in galleries and museums throughout the southeast United States. Patsy lives in Sautee Nacoochee.
Sean Kelly, Member
Sean is a life-long disability advocate who joined the UCP of Georgia board of directors in 2018 after supporting the organization’s volunteer expansion effort with his promotional video. Sean works professionally in the fields of public relations, writing, editing, social media management, and the music industry and is currently Director of Communications for New Disabled South. He also fronts the four-piece alternative band, A Fragile Tomorrow, and lives in Savannah.
Shayla Smith, Member
Shayla has been supporting UCP of Georgia since 2007, and was instrumental in organizing the first Share the Love fashion show in 2012. She joined the board of directors in 2018. Shayla is a Team Manager for State Farm Insurance – a company that has loyally supported of UCP of Georgia for many years – and lives in Douglasville.
Will Hogan, Member
Will works in marketing communications with Jackson Spalding‘s Healthcare Practice as a Client Advisor. As a volunteer, he brings marketing and account management expertise to UCP of Georgia. Will joined the UCP of Georgia board of directors in 2018.
Steve Jackson, Member
Steve Jackson is an engineer and contractor. He is the founder and president of Jacon Associates, Inc., a design, building, and contracting company in West Columbia, South Carolina. He is also the President of BuildVision, a firm providing feasibility studies, cost analysis, value engineering, and advisory services. In addition to serving on the UCP of Georgia Governing Board, Steve also volunteers for the UCP of South Carolina Advisory Board.
